My blog experience

hello everyone, today I will tell you about my experience writing blogs...

Well, the truth is that the last time I´ve acquired a taste for writing. I think I have a very active mind capable of creating good stories, something that until recently I had´nt realized. I enjoy writing about things that happen in my daily life or just about ideas I´ve about my emotions or the life I want to lead. Writing blogs in English isn´t what I like the most, but I don´t deny that I´ve improved my English level in several ways because to them.

I think blogs are an entertaining way to learn English, but isn´t the best. For me, the best way to learn English is to speak it, because when you travel to another country, it´s the most useful thing for you, it´s the closest way to establish contact with another person. I also think that the best way to learn is to listen to it, like watching videos or listening different kind of conversations. That´s my suggestion for the class.

My favourite tree or plant

Hi everyone, today I´m going to talk about my favourite tree: Beilschmiedia miersii. It´s an endemic tree of Chile, which is distributed between Petorca (V Region) and the Bellavista foothills in the VI Region. It is an evergreen tree that can reach a height of up to 25 meters, counting with persistent leaves and hermaphroditic flowers. It develops forming part of the sclerophyllous forest and, in 1995, It was declared as a Natural Monument.

"Belloto del Norte" It´s my favourite tree ´cause It was the first native plant that I bought for my house since I entered the university the last year. I think I have created a special bond with him: if my plant is happy I will be happy too. It´s like a friend to me.

A place I would like to visit

what's up guys?! this time im gonna talk about a place I wuold like to visit in the future....

Well, this is a difficult decision for me because I would like to go to many parts of the world. There are infinite places to go! However , I think one of the places I would prefer to visit is The Geiranger Fjord in Norway. I remember that my interest in this place began when I started watching a series on netflix: vikings. Beyond the plot of the series, I could`t overcome how beautiful were the different landscapes where they recorded the different scenes, like the view from kattegat for example.

El fiordo Geiranger. Noruega

In fact, I guess that I like more the country than the specific place that I mention. They have a cold weather and beatifull landscapes (most of them related with the sea). If I could, I would like to live there, specifically in Bergen ´cause I love the colorfull houses in front of the fjord.

In the future, maybe, I would move to live there with a partner. It would be boring if I were alone, Don't you think?

A photograph I like

Hi everyone, this time I´m going to show you one of my favourites pics. Well, this picture was taken by Carlos, a men we met with a friend when we traveled to the National Park Torres del Paine.  One day we were hitchhiking because we wanted to know "Laguna Sofia", so we wait for almost an hour until a car stopped for us. Once the car stopped we got into the car, the carlos´s car. He was a nice guy who was on his way to "Lake Sarmiento" to go fishing because the weather was perfect to do that. We decided to change our idea and join to his trip basically for one thing: we were going to eat free fish ahah.

On the trip we learned many things about the National Park because Carlos had lived all his life in Puerto Natales and had worked many times in different shelters in the Park. When we arrived we were shocked, the sky was clear and we could see the towers from the lake, it was amazing. We ask him to capture that moment with an iconic beer of the place, of course.

I like this photo because it has a story that makes me feel happy. I'm with a great person, a beer and a beautiful place, what else can I ask for?

My favourite piece of technology

The truth is that I don´t have a favourite piece of technology because I don´t use to have a close realtion with material things, but I guess that my computer would be that piece. I used to have an iphone 5s but in August I let fell off it in to the toilet. That was my sixth cellphone that I have had since I moved to live here to Santiago. That was my sad story of why I don´t use anycellphone anymore ahah. well, I bought my computer before I graduated from the school. I choose my computer because I was seraching for a one that was lightweight and fast. I read some comments that asus had what I wanted: a zenbook. So I decided to bought it.

Currently I use my PC to chat with my friends, listen to music, play some games, watch movies/videos, study and make jobs from the university principally. In the week I use it everyday, but on weekends there´s some days that I don´t. I gues that life without my computer would be a little boring, I would not have anything to listen to music.

Why did you choose this career/study programme?

When I was a child I wanted to be a firefighter because I liked the idea of saving people, but then I heard that they didn`t earn to much money, so I changed to the idea of studying something related to the nature. I used to read a lot about wild nature. That thing influenced my mind, I suppose.
when I recived the results of PSU exam I just decided to choose Forest Ingineering, because the topics in general were of my interest. Currently, I`m in second year and I could say that the career have exceeded my expectations, I have learn a lot until now.

In a few years I don`t have idea of what kind of work I`m going to have. Actually I have a lot of ideas in mind, but is probably that they change in a few months. One of my plans is move to another country like Canada and work there, maybe in something that don`t have relation with my career, Who knows?
